Turbo Granny from “Dandadan” in the form of a beckoning cat (maneki-neko) as a “FigLife!” piggy bank by Banpresto: approx. 20 cm tall. The white cat with the typical squinting eyes, red collar, bell and golden coin plaque raises one paw to wave – even the pink paw pads are painted. There is a coin slot on the back.

“Dandadan” by Yukinobu Tatsu follows Momo, who believes in ghosts, and Okarun, who believes in aliens – and both turn out to be right. Turbo Granny is a lightning-fast yokai who, after her fight with the two, ends up inside a beckoning cat figurine and from then on joins them as a loyal companion. The “FigLife!” line combines collectible figures with everyday objects.
